Launching Office 365 in LAU
After rolling out office 365 for students and as part of the Microsoft campus agreement, LAU is now providing you with Microsoft Office 365 free of charge. Office 365 will allow you to collaborate with colleagues and use the latest version of the familiar Office desktop suite anywhere and from any device.
Office 365 is simple to use and does not require any setup. It provides you with the ability to store your data on your personal OneDrive. You can work online or offline via Office desktop applications on PCs and Macs and access your data regardless of location or device.

Office 365 Education
- You will always use the latest version of Office and Office Online
- Install on up to 5 compatible PCs and Macs plus 5 tablets (including smart Phones and Tablets)
- Familiar Office user experience
- Using the newly deployed Office 2013 on your local LAU machines, your files could be saved to and accessed directly from the cloud
- The ability to post and share notes and documents using OneNote while allowing managed sharing with students and colleagues within departments or organization.
OneDrive
- Synchronize files and work offline using the OneDrive for business application which can be installed on your device
- Collaborate on documents with your students and colleagues depending on permissions levels
- Access to files from internet anywhere, anytime and on any device
Office 365 is available for you as of today. In order to start using it, logon using your LAU email address credentials (make sure to write your complete email address username@lau.edu.lb )
